Ristorante la porta

Tour visit to Capalbio (GR) in the medieval heart of Maremma, the village from where you can see one of the most beautiful views of the coast of Maremma. At the entrance of the small village is the restaurant La Porta, recommended especially for us by the Mayor of Capalbio and I must say that although the place is frequented by tourists as well as VIP, the restaurant can keep its own identity village, offering a good service combined the quality of the courses. As there are found to eat lunch, we could not test all the qualities of the restaurant, but despite being two and not eating much, we could test a high quality of the first (pappardelle with wild boar), ah remember that is famous for Capalbio the boar, so anyone who visits the Tuscan village, can not afford to miss at least a range of wild boar. Let’s get back to us, the pappardelle with wild boar were excellent, plus the pasta should be done in-house; we have tasted the second inmancabile wild boar, cooked to perfection, to finish a really good homemade pie. If we are only slight flaw was the appetizer, which did not offer anything special. Summing up the place is great for making a quality lunch or dinner without spending too much, certainly not one of those restaurants where you let your heart!

Gita in visita a Capalbio (GR) borgo medioevale nel cuore della Maremma; borgo dal quale poter scorgere uno dei panorami più belli di tutta la costa maremmana. All’entrata del piccolo borgo si trova il Ristorante la Porta, consigliato appositamente per noi dal sindaco di Capalbio e devo dire che nonostante il posto sia turistico nonchè frequentato da VIP, il ristorante riesce a tenere una sua identità paesana, offrendo un buon servizio abbinato alla qualità delle portate. Essendoci trovati a mangiare a pranzo, non abbiamo potuto saggiare tutte le qualità del ristorante, ma anche pur essendo in due e non mangiando molto, abbiamo potuto testare un’ottima qualità dei primi (pappardelle al cinghiale); ah ricordiamo che Capalbio è famosissima per il cinghiale, per cui chiunque faccia visita al borgo toscano, non può farsi sfuggire almeno una portata di cinghiale. Torniamo a noi, le pappardelle al cinghiale erano ottime, oltretutto la pasta dovrebbe essere stata fatta in casa; di secondo abbiamo assaggiato l’inmancabile cinghiale alla cacciatora, cotto a regola d’arte; per finire una crostata fatta in casa veramente buona. Unica leggera pecca se vogliamo è stato l’antipasto, che non offriva niente di particolare. Riassumendo il posto è ottimo per fare una cena o un pranzo di qualità senza spendere troppo, sicuramente non è uno di quei ristoranti in cui ci lasci il cuore!!
